Are you having trouble logging in to your Finna account to renew loans etc? The reason is probably that no password is registered for your account. After the change of library system, you can no longer log in with your last name or with the default PIN. You must set a 5-digit PIN code for your account.
Students and staff: Instructions for setting a new PIN code
- Remove the library card from your Finna account (HAKA login) and log out
- In the login window, click the link “If you have forgotten your Library Card PIN-code…” and add the library card number and the e-mail address registered in the library system. You will receive an e-mail with a link for resetting your password, and can now set a 5-digit PIN code.
- After this, you can log in as usual with HAKA login and add your library card to your account by using the new PIN code.
