Ebrary is now Ebook Central 04.04.2017

Ebrary is now called Ebook Central. The e-book database includes about 140,000 books in various disciplines, mainly in English. Most of these are part of the licensed e-book packages of the universities/universities of applied sciences, but the service also includes individually purchased titles. Most books in the database allow for an unlimited amount of simultaneous users.

 

You will find links to Ebook Central and its titles in the Finna portal of your own university/university of applied sciences.

  • Your Ebrary username and password are still valid
  • When logging in for the first time, you will be asked to move your books in the Bookshelf to Ebook Central. After this, you will have access to the e-books as usual.
  • The search function has been improved and the layout on the startpage has been changed, but you can read and manage your books in the same way as earlier
