You can reserve a book online in Finna if the book you wish to borrow is not available at the moment. You can also ask the library staff to make the reservation for you. The reservation is valid for 6 months.
You will receive a notification by email when the reserved book has arrived. Reserved books are kept in the pick-up shelf for 3 working days. Reserving books is free of charge.
NB! You can't reserve material at Tritonia Allegro in Finna, please contact, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Short loans, books for staff use, project loans, journals and books that are already on loan in you name cannot be reserved. Books that are not on loan (in the library shelves) cannot be reserved in Finna.
In Vaasa reserved books are available for self-service pick up. Reserved books are placed in numerical order according to the last 4 digits in your personal reservation ID.
If you want to cancel a reservation that has already arrived, email us email@example.com.
The Tritonia Express fee (2 €/book) is charged when you wish to reserve a book that is available in the library shelf for you to pick up later. You come to pick it up from that unit.
You can reserve books by phone or by e-mail on weekdays. The service is free of charge for staff of the universities and the universities of applied sciences and for physically handicapped students.
You can order books from Allegro to Vaasa and vice versa. Note! This service does not apply to short loans and textbooks, which are not being transported. The service charge is 5 €/book for our students and 10 €/book for external customers. Books can be ordered free of charge between our units for staff of the universities and universities of applied sciences and for physically handicapped students.
Book are sent every Wednesday from our units. If you wish to order a book from one unit to another, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
